SITA LabSolution Webinar: Get More from Your Tensiometer

We invite quality control and cleanliness testers working with surface tension and surfactant analysis to join SITA Messtechnik for a free online product training on their LabSolution software.

SITA will be hosting a 60-minute webinar on August 27, 2026, focused on practical workflows for using the software with SITA tensiometers. The training will be presented by application specialist Tilo Zachmann and LabSolution software specialist Florian Riedel.

Registration details and the webinar agenda are provided directly by SITA Messtechnik.

This live training session may not be convenient for North American attendees. However, anyone who registers will receive access to a recording of the webinar.

From Surface Tension Measurements to a More Structured Shop Floor Workflow

For manufacturers using dynamic surface tension to evaluate surfactants, cleaning solutions, wetting agents, and other surface-active liquids, collecting the measurement is only part of the job.

Measurements also need to be organized, compared, evaluated, documented, and—in many applications—repeated under consistent conditions.

LabSolution is designed to bring these activities together in a shop floor environment. The software provides access to SITA tensiometer functions and measurement data, including convenient configuration of measuring parameters and retrieval of data from the instrument.

SITA's broader product documentation identifies dynamic surface tension measurement as a method for applications including surfactant concentration control in industrial cleaning and rinsing baths, wetting-agent monitoring in coating and etching processes, and quality inspection of inks, paints, and varnishes.

What You'll Learn

Rather than providing only a general software overview, SITA's training is structured around actual LabSolution workflows. Attendees will learn how to:

  • Organize measurements and experiments
  • Create individual measurements and measurement series
  • Edit, compare, and manage measurement results
  • Create reports
  • Set up measurement profiles and reference characteristics

These topics follow SITA's published agenda for the training.

LabSolution also supports broader laboratory automation capabilities, including user-defined measurement sequences, PC-based data acquisition, comparison of results from different measurements or experiments, report creation, Excel export, and integration with laboratory equipment such as burettes, magnetic stirrers, and thermostats.
